Fish Keeping
Fish keeping is something that anyone can
do. It can be easy and many fish species require little
care and attention. Tanks are available in many shapes and
sizes and you can pick up a tank and starter pack for very
little money.
There are a few things you should consider
when you first embark on keeping fish. Firstly the type
of fish you want to keep. Tropical fish are the easiest
to start off with as they are the hardiest of all fish groups.
There are also coldwater fish, marine fish and coldwater

You also need to consider the aquarium. The
fish you are able to keep will also depend on the size of
aquarium you have and the equipment. Many tropical fish
can survive in a small aquarium as can some coldwater fish.
Tropical fish do need some specialist equipment like a filter
and a heater. Marine fish need larger tanks and more space.
