The remarkable Discus fish is round and laterally
flattened like a disc. They are very beautiful and
come in a variety of colours. The scales of discus
fish sparkle in the light.
These fish are difficult to keep. They need highly
specific water conditions and a tank on their own.
Water must be soft, slightly acidic, and kept scrupulously
clean.
You can keep several discus fish together but be
careful not to overcrowd them.
