Clown Fish

The clown fish acquired it's name from their comical waddling swimming action.

This is a marine fish and likes lots of coral to hide in. They are also known as Anemonefishes because they like to swim amongst the sea anemone.

These fish are hardy and fairly easy to breed. They create a wonderful display in an aquarium swimming in and out of shelters.

A disadvantage to this fish is that the anemone they love so much need high tech lighting which is expensive.

Clown Fish

These fish like to swim in the middle and lower regions of a tank. They are peaceful fish but can be territorial so it is best to keep them in a large tank.

They can grow up to 2 and a half inches in length. You can keep a few clown fish together and they will act as a group. You should not overcrowd the tank.

They are omnivorous
